Khabib Gets Hero Welcome From Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov

After his convincing victory over Conor McGregor at UFC 229, and the brawl, Khabib Nurmagomedov met with controversial Chechen Republic leader, Ramzan Kadyrov.

Kadyrov has been accused of numerous human rights abuses over the years including a crackdown of the LGBT community which has allegedly involved torture and summary executions.

This comes 2 days after Nurmagomedov was received by Russia’s president Vladimir Putin:
